Halloween Event for Lionshead Lake Residents (please bring a food pantry donation)

4-7PM trunk or treat, tote bag decorating and beach hangout -

Sunday, October 17th is our first Lionshead Lake Trunk or Treat. We are excited to make this a free event for all Lionshead Lake residents! As it’s usually too cold for a Thanksgiving Event at the Lake, this event will double as an opportunity for giving. We ask that all families who attend please bring a food item for a local pantry, which will be delivered on behalf of Lionshead Lake. If you haven’t been down to the lake in some time, or if you’ve never attended an event, come down to meet some neighbors, have some fun, and see the great Halloween spirit embodied by our neighborhood.   We are still in need of volunteers to decorate their trunks for this festive event so please sign up on this post or the event poll post.  Common requested food pantry items are the following:  Shelf stable WHOLE milk  Canned ham (16 oz.)  Spam  Dinty Moore Stew (15 oz.)  Manwich, any variety (15 oz.)  Cereal (all varieties)  Hamburger Helper (all varieties)  Maple syrup  Coffee, decaf – ground and instant  Canned potatoes  Cake frosting  Laundry detergent  Dish soap  Household cleaning supplies
